PDA means personal digital assistant, PDA is a computer that fits in your hand also known as a palmtop computer. latest PDAs also have different color screens and audio, video capabilities, enabling them to be used as mobile phones or smart phones, web browsers, or portable media players. a great way to store telephone numbers, email addresses, Many PDAs can access the Internet, intranets or extranets via Wi-Fi, or Wireless Wide Area Networks (WWANs). A PDA can store, access, and transfer virtually any kind of data, including maps, spreadsheets, presentations, and dockets. Many PDAs employ sensor technology (touch screen technology).
PDA technology use has been growing exponentially at a dramatic rate since 2000. This includes Windows based personal digital assistant devices, as well as Windows based Pocket Personal computer Smart phones.
The first PDA was released in May 1983 measured by CASIO PF-3000. GO Corp. was also initiating in the field.
